Gonzaga Hall Trash
SO, you may think I am crazy because I am about to dedicate a whole entry to the trash system of Gonzaga Hall, but you will eventually thank me.
At Gonzaga, you need to throw away your own trash. Yes, YOU HAVE TO DO IT!!! The way you throw trash out is done one way. You have to purchase these special white with purple writing trash bags that you can get at GS25 .hey are cheap so don't trip over wasting money on trash bags. After you get them, remember that you can only use these bags to throw trash away!!!!
In your room, you can just use regular bags. Just remember to stuff those bags inside the white and purple trash bags. These white and purple trash bags are unique because they identify the district. Each district has its own trash bags, which allows them to distinguish which district's trash it is.
When the trash bags are full, just go to the first floor and exit Gonzaga Hall. As you exit, turn to your left and you will see two wooden sheds. You will sometimes see an older Korean man who will take your trash for you. If he is not there, the door will most likely be closed. Do not be alarmed. Just open the doors, they aren't locked. The white and purple trash bags go on the right wooden shed.
So what's the other one for?
The left shed is for recycling. You need to remember to separate you recycle from the rest of the trash. Bottles and card board boxes go on the left. Big cardboard boxes need to be folded flat. Don't be lazy and just fold the box flat guys. It allows for more space because there are a ton of students and the sheds aren't all that big to fit everyone's trash. Also remember to separate the cans and bottles. You just basically need to follow the instruction for the recycling. You will see what goes where.
Also, quick thing. When you first arrive to Gonzaga, you will most likely see trash bags on the corridors of your floor from the previous tenants. Don't just leave it there. I know you didn't leave it there, but nobody is gonna pick it up so just do it yourself. I left it out for about a week thinking thats how we threw trash away, but it never got picked up. So save yourself sometime and just do it right off the bat.
