Getting your room ready for Room Check

So this post is dedicated to keeping your room clean. You may think that you don't have to clean your room in Gonzaga, since you are living alone and nobody is there to nag you about cleaning your room. YOU ARE DEAD WRONG!!!!!

Gonzaga has floor meeting every 2 weeks in the cafeteria room (B1, basement) at 11pm. Right after the meeting, your floor manager will inspect every room to see that students have or are cleaning their rooms. It is important that you attend the floor meetings or at least make sure your roommate goes. Currently, the student supervisor in charge of the foreign exchange students is Crystal. If you are going to be absent from the meeting, you have to notify her and let her know why you aren't coming to the meeting via text or call. If you just don't show up, you will get points deducted.

POINTS DEDUCTED????????

GONZAGA HALL RUNS ON A POINT SYSTEM. IF YOU ENTER GONZAGA AFTER CURFEW (12-5AM OR 1-5AM), YOU WILL GET POINTS DEDUCTED OR IF YOU DO SOMETHING YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO (SMOKING IN THE ROOMS OR DRINING ALCOHOL INSIDE GONZAGA).

OKAY SO BACK TO CLEANING. THERE ARE CLEANING SUPPLIES AT YOU DISPOSAL IN EVERY FLOOR. It is located next to the elevators.

I personally don't like these supplies. I have no clue what each thing is and they look dirty. If you don't mind spending a couple of bucks, I recommend you buy yourself a broom and a mop. I keep mini ones in my room so I don't have to be going in and out to go get cleaning supplies or having to wait for someone to finish cleaning. GS25 sells small brooms. They are very tiny so you will have to hunch over. You are better off looking for a broom with the big stick. There is a store near Sogang called Daiso where you could get a broom and a mop. I got mine there. Daiso is a very reliable place to get small things for a cheap price. All you do is turn right as you exit the front entrance of Sogang University. Keep walking straight until you hit a 7/11 store and turn right. Keep going straight for a little bit and you will find the entrance to Sinchon Station.

Exit on Exit 5 and you will see a store called "The Day."

Turn right when you see the store and be on the look out for Daiso. Daiso will be on you left side. Look carefully because the entrance is small and you may miss it. The entrance is small and will lead you down some stairs. A lot of places in Seoul are underground so don't be alarmed or think you are heading the wrong way.

So this is it for my post. See you next time. I will be addressing cell phones and a quick heads up for when you arrive at Gonzaga. Many of you probably have and Itouch or some type of device that can connect to the internet. I will tell you how to connect your device via Gonzaga's wifi so you can quickly send a message to your family members that you are safe and sound. Bye!!!

Here are some random picks for you guys!!! ^_^
